A coloured resin bath tub, made from a single piece of material!
After the bathroom accessory and transparent resin washbasin lines, the oval tub Jolie is Regia's latest challenge. It is the characterising element that completes the circle. Made from polyester resin, acrylic resin and additives that make it coloured and highly transparent, Jolie was designed with the clear cut objective of being identified with Regia and having the Milanese company identified with it. It has an ergonomic, strong and practical design, because it is produced meticulously, using a single die and a single casting. Despite the experimentation and research that the company has always carried out in the field of materials, especially plastics, Jolie brought Regia into contact with completely new problems, from installation types to plumbing components, capacity regulations and ergonomics. The tub also required the experimentation and development of a brand new material: a resin able to withstand damage, resist heat and sudden temperature changes, be sufficiently elastic so as not to break in the dies and provide long-lasting transparent colour. A polyester/acrylic resin loaded with glass pigments to provide its colour, cast in a liquid state in fibreglass and plastic dies and then processed to create its special surface finish. Jolie measures 180 x 80 x h. 53 cm and is available in four different colours: red, apple green, amber, blue and white tecnoglass. The tub demonstrates great attention to detail and the finishes, and has been designed to create a unique, highly original look. Its elliptical and rounded shape makes it perfect for installation in the middle of the room, while a number of wooden components also mean that it can be installed in a more traditional fashion next to the wall. The item is enhanced and completed by personalised taps, available in floor-standing or fitted versions
